1. Tampa Bay Buccaneers- Jameis Winston, QB, Florida State
Bret: A true pocket passer that can make NFL level throws. His mechanics/fundamentals could use a little refinement, but all signs show that he should be a top level QB, provided that he take his job seriously and doesn't get into trouble off the field.
2. Tennessee Titans- Leonard Williams, DT, USC
Josh: I believe that the Titans will trade out of this pick. However, if they were to keep it, Williams would be the best option for their team. Williams would make a great pairing with Jurrell Casey. Casey and Williams would be a dynamic duo immediately in the NFL. With this pick, the Titans would move one step closer to having a legitimate defense.
3. Jacksonville Jaguars- Dante Fowler, DE/OLB, Florida
Bret: This is Josh's favorite player in the entire draft, for the record. I was personally a bit sour on Fowler after initially watching his tape, but after watching more, I began to see more and more potential. With Gus Bradley a former Seahawks coach, he will understand the importance of a good defensive line and he'll bolster it with Fowler.
4. Oakland Raiders- Amari Cooper, WR, Alabama
Josh: While Kevin White is my top rated WR in this class, the Raiders seem much more interested in Cooper here. For some odd reason, people seem to be bored with Cooper's greatness. Cooper is not the flashiest WR in this draft, he is the most polished WR in the draft. Raiders fans will be happy that the front office not only got a pick right, but that they got young-QB Derek Carr a new toy.
5. Washington Redskins- Kevin White, WR, West Virginia
Bret: The Redskins have one legit option in the passing game in Pierre Garcon. Alfred Morris is another quality option, but they need more to compete on offense. White is a beast and the best player available with the previous four guys off the board. White is a franchise WR and a true No. 1.
6. New York Jets- Marcus Mariota, QB, Oregon
Josh: There is no way Mariota will be here at No. 6, for the Jets. As previously stated, I believe that there will be one or two big trades before this pick in which Mariota will be somehow involved in. In this scenario, the Jets would be forced to try and draft Mariota and move on from Geno Smith.
7. Chicago Bears- Vic Beasley, DE/OLB, Clemson
Bret: Beasley's explosiveness and athleticism is second-to-none in this draft. Take a look here. He bursts off the line with consistency and has a solid amount of moves in his tool box to beat his competition. I would be very surprised if Beasley did not produce at a Pro Bowl level for the Bears or whoever ends up with him.
8. Atlanta Falcons- Shane Ray, DE/OLB, Missouri
Josh: Falcons are in desperate need of a pass-rusher. Ray could fill that void and be a quality starter for years to come. While his injury scare (toe) during the off-season turned out to not be serious, it will certainly be something the Falcons monitor and consider before drafting him.
9. New York Giants- La'el Collins, OT, LSU
Bret: Collins is an absolute mauler. Coming out of LSU's run-heavy offense, his run blocking is his strength, but he is also a good pass blocker. Collins is my top offensive-lineman and that's who the Giants nab. The organization has shown a willingness to address the offensive line early in the draft before (Justin Pugh was picked 19th in 2013). Collins will help the entire offense succeed.
10. St. Louis Rams- DeVante Parker, WR, Louisville
Josh: While an offensive lineman is tempting to take here, the Rams need an outside weapon for newly acquired QB Nick Foles. With the Browns sitting just behind the Rams, they will nab Parker to assure they get their guy. I'm skeptical of Parker, but NFL teams seem to be high on Teddy Bridgewater's former teammate at Louisville. In seven games last season without Bridgewater, the 6'3" WR managed 19.9 yards/catch. It is easy to see why NFL teams are so high on the Louisville product.
11. Minnesota Vikings- Dorial Green-Beckham, WR, Oklahoma/Missouri
Bret: Lets list the amount of legitimate options Teddy has. Take a second to think. Okay, that was fun. I couldn't think of one either. DGB has the well-noted red flags, but he's extremely talented. Josh Gordon is my comp for him. Mike Wallace and Cordarrelle Patterson are far from No. 1 options. Adrian Peterson's situation is subject to change at any moment. An offensive lineman is desperately needed to prevent Teddy from getting the stuffing beat out of him, but DGB is the choice.
12. Cleveland Browns- Danny Shelton, DT, Washington
Josh: With the Browns missing out on their QB and WR, they are left with the Rocky Mountain of Defense. Shelton stands in at a mammoth 6'2", 339 pounds and is one of the best, if not the best, run defenders in the draft. The Browns already have a pretty good defense and Shelton would provide them with their marquee run-stuffer. He has also proved to be light on his feet and has a spin move in his pass-rushing repetoire.
13. New Orleans Saints- Trae Waynes, CB, Michigan State
Bret: New Orleans signed back-to-back Super Bowl winning CB Brandon Browner this offseason and he is a man-to-man corner if I've ever seen one. Waynes' strength is in his man-to-man coverage and he could learn and play opposite of Browner. The Saints need to be able to rely on their often shaky defense to win them some games. Waynes would help transform their defense.
14. Miami Dolphins- TJ Clemmings, OT, Pittsburgh
Josh: The 'Fins are in desperate need of o-line help. Ryan Tannehill was sacked 46 times last year. That is not good. The Dolphins could go Schreff here, I think they choose Clemmings, not only because he is a better fit for them, but they will be scared off by Schreff's knee issues.
15. San Francisco 49ers- Eric Kendricks, ILB, UCLA
Bret: If there is one player that you decide to watch tape on, I suggest you watch Kendricks. His play is infectious and so much fun to watch. If one organization can understand the importance of linebacker play, it's the 'Niners. Kendricks doesn't quit and makes play after play. Plus, having an athletic linebacker to anchor any defense is never a bad thing.
16. Houston Texans- Melvin Gordon, RB, Wisconsin
Josh: With Arian Foster constantly injured and only getting older, his glory days are widdling away very, very quickly. This opens the door for Wisconsin standout Melvin Gordon. He benefited from wide-open running lanes at Wisconsin, but he proved himself to be one of the best running backs in college. In fact, most people believe that he is the best running back in this class.
17. San Diego Chargers- Landon Collins, S, Alabama
Bret: Collins is a versatile safety that plays special teams, is built like a linebacker, but athletic enough to hold up in coverage. Eric Weddle and the team are at odds about his contract, but even for this year it would be a perfect marriage. Weddle excels in coverage and Collins is a safety that excels down in the box. He'd be a capable replacment if Weddle were to leave in the future. Collins is very high on my board.
18. Kansas City Chiefs- Jaelen Strong, WR, Arizona State
Josh: Strong is a bit of a reach here for the Chiefs, I believe that he is the best fit for them there. I have Agholor higher than Strong, but Strong is a better compliment to Jeremy Maclin's game. Some may believe that the signing of Jeremy Maclin eliminates the potential for the Chiefs to draft a WR. However, the Chiefs can take as many playmakers on offense as possible.
19. Cleveland Browns- Maxx Williams, TE, Minnesota
Bret: Even when the Browns get a supremely talented player on offense in Josh Gordon, they cannot sustain it. Jordan Cameron was a solid TE for them, but he's in Miami now. I think Clive Walford will be better than Maxx, but I also believe that he will be drafted first. The Minnesota product could benefit from better route-running, but he's a quality tight end.
20. Philadelphia Eagles- Nelson Agholor, WR, USC
Josh: The Eagles could easily take offensive lineman Jake Fisher here, they have expressed more interest in Agholor. He compares favorably to Jeremy Maclin who left in free agency after a breakout season in Philly. The Birds signed Miles Austin, but they are in need of a No. 1 outside receiver. Agholor, paired with Jordan Matthews in the slot, will provide the Eagles with a dangerous receiving duo. Agholor is very versatile and can play special teams, which is something Chip Kelly values greatly.
21. Cincinnati Bengals- Randy Gregory, DE/OLB, Nebraska
Bret: Just a few season removed from having the most sacks in the league, their defensive line has fallen on their face. Geno Atkins can still produce at a high level despite mixed results recently. Gregory could be a good value pick here and Marvin Lewis will be pleased to draft him.
22. Pittsburgh Steelers- Marcus Peters, CB, Washington
Josh: Marcus Peters here makes too much sense for the Steelers to pass up on. The only thng that could hold up this pick from happening is Peters' off the field issues. The Steelers have historically stayed away from players with off-field issues, they have seemed to prioritize talent over character in recent years (LeVeon Bell, Jeff Reed, Ben Roethlisberger, etc.). Peters has the talent to immediately become the Steelers best corner.
23. Detroit Lions- Brandon Schreff, OT, Iowa
Bret: Matt Stafford has plenty of help on the outside, but to allow the playmakers and Stafford to do their job, they need to fortify their offensive line. Stafford has an injury history, so that's just another reason to bolster that section of their team. Here's another way to think about it: when is the last time a team has had a good offensive line and regretted it?
24. Arizona Cardinals- Shaq Thompson, OLB/Safety, Washington
Josh: Shaq Thompson and the Arizona Cardinals are a match made in Heaven. Thompson could either be a LB or safety in the NFL. This type of versatility is both exciting and unique. He could become a starting LB for the Cardinals while working his way into being a role player at safety.
25. Carolina Panthers- Arik Armstead, DE, Oregon
Bret: Armstead is one tall dude for a defensive end (6'8") and has good blood-lines. His brother Armond signed with the New England Patriots after a stint in the CFL and college career at USC before retiring after having a second heart attack before his 30th birthday. Arik, though, is a nice pass-rusher that would make the Panthers defense even more formidable.
26. Baltimore Ravens- Todd Gurley, RB, Georgia
Josh: The Ravens resigned Justin Forsett, and he is coming off a career year, it is my belief that the Ravens will draft the best player available at this point. By doing so, they will have their long-term starting running back in Gurley. If it weren't for his ACL injury, he would not even be on the board at this point.
27. Dallas Cowboys- Kevin Johnson, CB, Wake Forest
Bret: Johnson has good instincts, which is obviously valuable for a corner. Byron Jones of UCONN, PJ Williams of Florida State and Jalen Collins are all corners that could be taken here too. The Cowboys really couldn't go wrong addressing that part of their team. Johnson does lack in the run game, but I think he can add to his frame.
28. Denver Broncos- Benardrick McKinney, ILB, Mississippi State
Josh: McKinney will provide the Broncos with not just LB depth, but a future quality starter. He would thrive in the Broncos defense. The Broncos will want to bolster their defense as Peyton Manning makes his exit out of the league.
29. Indianapolis Colts- Malcom Brown, DT, Texas
Bret: After getting exposed several times last year by the Patriots, it's evident that the Colts need to upgrade their defense to be taken seriously. Andrew Luck will have their offense humming. On that note though, an offensive lineman could be of use with this pick, too.
30. Green Bay Packers- Jordan Phillips, DT, Oklahoma
Josh: The Packers have a lot of depth at this position, Phillips has a chance to become a standout player on the Packers defense.
31. New Orleans Saints- Cameron Erving, C/OT, Florida State
Bret: Erving was initally an OT, but then made the strange conversion to center where he exceled. He will be a very effective offensive lineman from day one and that's another unit for the Saints that needs some help.
32. New England Patriots- PJ Williams, CB, Florida State
Josh: With Browner and Revis gone, Williams provides both quality and depth. Williams is my favorite corner in this draft. His offseason arrest is very concering, but his talent level goes unmatched in this draft class. I feel as if Williams could come into the Patriots organization and earn a starting position.
