Senior QB Connor Cook has been on peoples' radar for quite some time now. Many believe he his a first round prospect, but we disagree with that notion. Cook may get drafted in the first round, but his play and ability certainly don't warrant a first round pick. Cook deserves to be a second round pick, and a select group of people believe he deserves to go in round three. While Cook does have great size (6'4" 220 lbs.) and is an experienced starter, he is far too inconsistent for our liking. He needs to improve his decision-making and footwork. He has an average arm and he doesn't see the field very well. He does hang in the pocket well and can deliver some nice touch throws, but it's hard to get past his inconsistency. Cook is a round two prospect that should start out on the bench in the NFL.
