2016 NFL Top 20 Mock Draft

With the top 20 positions in the draft locked in, here is a mock draft of those top 20 picks.

1. Titans- Laremy Tunsil, OT, Ole Miss

-The Titans need to get some help for Mariota. Tunsil would improve their offensive line tremendously. As a bonus, Tunsil is arguably the best prospect in this class, so the Titans wouldn't be wasting their opportunity to take the top talent.

2. Browns- Jared Goff, QB, California

-The Browns have had a revolving door at QB for what feels like forever now. They have tried to find their franchise QB in the first round several times now since 1999-Tim Couch, Brady Quinn, Brandon Weeden, Johnny Manziel. Obviously, none of those players panned out as the Browns had hoped. However, Goff appears to be a player that could finally be the answer in Cleveland. While Goff isn't the best player on the board here, he is a potential franchise-changing prospect.

3. Chargers- Ronnie Stanley, OT, Notre Dame

-The Chargers need to bolster their offensive line if they want to get better on offense. Stanley would most likely be perceived as the best offensive lineman left on the board with Tunsil gone. Stanley needs to get stronger but could be a mainstay for the Chargers for the next decade.

4. Cowboys- Joey Bosa, DE, Ohio State

-Many believe Bosa is the top player in the draft. That type of talent would just be too hard to pass up at pick number four. Bosa would also fit a need for the Cowboys, which would be a bonus for them.

5. Jaguars- Robert Nkemdiche, DL, Ole Miss

-Nkemdiche obviously has some question marks off of the field right now, which could drop him in the draft. However, there is no denying his talent. He would help bolster the front seven of the Jaguars' defense, especially since they will be getting Dante Fowler, Jr. next year.

6. Ravens- Jalen Ramsey, DB, Florida State

-Ramsey projects as a safety that is versatile enough to play corner. The Ravens desperately need help in the secondary, and Ramsey would provide an immediate upgrade and would be a day-one starter.

7. 49ers- Paxton Lynch, QB, Memphis

-I personally don't think Lynch is worth a top 20 pick, but teams always reach for QBs and Lynch has a head of steam headed toward the draft. The Niners need a potential franchise guy, and I don't think they leave the first round without a QB one way or another.

8. Dolphins- Taylor Decker, OT, Ohio State

-Again, I do not think Decker is worth a top ten pick, but the Dolphins have just been so desperate for O-Line help for so long that I feel as if they will take an O-Lineman no matter what.

9. Buccaneers- Vernon Hargreaves III, CB, Florida

-The Bucs could use secondary help, and Hargreaves is just the guy to help them with their issue. He is athletic enough to play man coverage and is great at reading the quaterback's eyes when he plays off in zone coverage. The knocks on Hargreaves are that he isn't physical enough to be a press corner (due to small stature) and he can get beat by being a step late to react in man coverage.

10. Giants- Shaq Lawson, EDGE, Clemson

-The Giants need help in a lot of areas, but perhaps the most important area they need help is in the pass rushing department. I'm not a big fan of Lawson, but many believe his arguably the best pass rusher in this class. If those people are right, he would be a great pick for the Giants here.

11. Bears- Myles Jack, LB, UCLA

-Mack would pretty much be a steal with this pick. His only concern is how he will be after his season-ending injury in 2015. Mack would probably be the best player available at this point and he would be a great fit for the Bears. A win-win situation.

12. Saints- Mackensie Alexander, CB, Clemson

-The Saints have a lot of issues on defense, but with Brandon Browner being the most penalized corner in all of football, Alexander would be a good pick here .

13. Eagles- Laquon Treadwell, WR, Ole Miss

- The Eagles have bigger issues than WR, but Treadwell is probably the best player on the board at this point. Treadwell could also help boost the Eagles' passing attack and would be a major upgrade over Riley Cooper. The Eagles would be pretty set with Treadwell, Agholor, and Matthews as their top three receivers.

14. Raiders- Leonard Floyd, OLB, Georgia

-The Raiders are trending upward. Mack is a playmaker on defense, but they could use another playmaker to help him out. Floyd is a dynamic player that is undersized, but very versatile. He can play off the ball in more of a safety role, and he can fly off the edge to rush the passer. A Mack-Floyd duo would be pretty formidable to opposing offensive lines.

15. Rams- Connor Cook, QB, Michigan State

-Did I mention that teams reach for quarterbacks? This would be a huge reach for the Rams. but it just feels like the Rams want their franchise QB and they want him now. The Rams have a good defense, a franchise RB, and a somewhat respectable receiving core. So unless they have a crazy reunion with free agent QB Sam Bradford, I would expect them to get a QB at all costs.

16. Lions- Josh Doctson, WR, TCU

-With Calvin Johnson only getting older and more expensive, the Lions would be wise to add a replacement playmaker. Doctson could take pressure off of Calvin and Tate and really open up the Lions' passing attack consistently.

17. Falcons- A'Shawn Robinson, DT, Alabama

-This is simply drafing the best healthy player available. Robinson would please Dan Quinn and would help him run his defense.

18. Colts- Jack Conklin, OT, Michigan State

-Conklin would help ease the minds of the fans in Indy. After seeing Andrew Luck get hurt this year, the Colts must put all hands on deck this offseason toward keeping Luck upright. Conklin would be a good pick here for that reason.

19. Bills- Carl Lawson, DE, Auburn

-With Mario Williams reportedly expecting to be cut, the Bills will want to vamp up their pass rush. Lawson is only 6'2", but he is explosive off the edge. He also had himself a nice game against potential number one overall pick, Laremy Tunsil. Rex Ryan will love this guy.

20. Jets- Jaylon Smith, LB, Notre Dame

-This is simply taking the best player available, by far. Smith's injury is reported to be damage to multiple ligaments. However, injury or not, Smith is a top ten talent in this draft, maybe even top seven or eight. Smith would be the field general in New York for the next ten plus years. That's all coaches would love, but Todd Bowles especially would love that about Smith
